In the US, our focus is on underrepresented and underserved student communities. We know that STEM education and experiences are enriched with diversity! Join us on our journey to raise STEM awareness and literacy among middle and high school students, especially those with limited resources and little access to innovative science!

Take a peek at our workshops for high school (and a few middle-school students!) from Orange and Seminole Counties in FL, where we focus on experiential learning and scientific and career exposure. We reserve 70% space for underrepresented, first-generation college prospects.

We aim to introduce students to the latest & greatest techniques, where we try to make them relatable and help students to see how they could be applicable to their future careers. For example, students are exposed to CRISPR – it is accessible, affordable, quick and easy to use, and the steps involved are not time consuming. Not only do we introduce participants to the topic of genome editing, its ability to improve human health, we also ensure that we get them thinking on possible ethical issues surrounding this and similar techniques through healthy debate.

We complement hands-on experiments with career exposure and the business aspects of science. We believe in culturally-relevant membership and tap experts as panelists in down-to-earth discussions with students. These include engineers, nanoscientists, mathematicians and health sciences.
